Emotional Full Moon In Cancer 2020

Do you remember the full moon in Cancer last year? I’m sure not because there wasn’t one. Missing out the emotional intensity of the moon last year means one thing for the 10th of January 2020. All those bottled up emotions need to end up somewhere. Although there is much more intensity to this time of year, with so many planets in Capricorn and the VERY rare Saturn and Pluto conjunction on 12th January, I am thinking it’s a good idea to focus on what this moon could mean for many of us.

It’s also partially eclipsing and to not complicate things, this basically means that energies are intensified. This is not a small thing, considering all the bottled up emotions of the missed moon in Cancer from last year could very well surface.

Many people could be feeling that they thought 2020 would kick in and they would be revving to go. However, it’s taking a bit more effort than expected. I could be a feeling of not being ready for full throttle, or life could be sending obstacles. Either way, it’s not ready-set- go, because it’s setting the tone for the year, which is the much-needed theme of slow and steady wins the race. Check back in for a post on 2020 being a universal 4 number.

The easing into the year links directly to this moon because we are so used to putting everything before our emotions. What to create. How to manifest it. Wishes, dreams, plans, and goals always kick off the energy of a new year. This one is different though and it’s important to pay attention to it. This one is saying, put your feelings first. Cancer deal with home, family life, love and what is closest to your heart.

This might feel strange, but the less you do during this full moon energy and the more you ‘be’, the better chance you will have of creating all you want to in 2020. Don’t kick into the habit of making lists and plotting plans and goals. Rather, make plans to have fun, relax and enjoy. Centre your energy around what is closest to you hear and don’t feel the emotions that might surface.

This is not to say that it won’t be an intense time. There may be a tough conversation or two to be had or old issues creeping up, but with all the planets aligned for truly letting go, there is no better time to do it. The bottom line is … feel your way through this weekend and into the start of a new week. It’s up to you if you choose to flow with the feelings or keep them bottled up inside, but the reality is, there is literally no better time to be real about how you feel and where your heart lies. It’s not the time to find all the answers and solutions, though. I’m sure it sounds frustrating, but that’s kinda the point. Decide what you’re going to do with it.
